INGREDIENTS:
The ultimate, deep cleaning mask. This amazing exfoliating mask draws out impurities like a champ and is filled with natural minerals that detoxify and moisturize the skin. We like to say it's "down-to-earth" because of its clay and seaweed aroma, but what it lacks in fragrance, it makes up for in purifying.

HOW TO USE:
Mix ½ tsp clay mask with ½ tsp of purified water. Mix with brush and apply to face (avoid area directly around eyes). Let dry completely and wash off with a warm wet face cloth. Follow with one of our hydrating face lotions. *If you don't like the smell, add a drop of your favourite essential oil to the mask after mixing with water and before you apply.

INGREDIENTS:
Multani Mitti Clay Kaolin Clay, Organic Seaweed Powder, Canadian Green Glacial Clay, Cucumber Peel Extract, French Red Clay, Black Clay, Rosehip Extract, Olive Leaf Extract, Licorice Root Extract, Wheat Grass Extract.

Meet Our Heroes

Every ingredient in this product is beneficial for your skin. Here are the key ingredients for the Clay Mask.
Seaweed Powder

This ingredient is filled with enriching vitamins like B12, vitamin E, amino acids, and healing minerals. Seaweed powder has a calming effect on your skin while being a super exfoliator as well as a skin purifier while helping maintain skin moisture. This ingredient is where the strong pungent earthy smell comes from. But it is SO beneficial to your skin!

Green Glacial Clay

We are obsessed with this clay. It's the product of erosion of glaciers in upper Canada. The osmotic clay pulls moisture up from deep within skin to hydrate and clean the surface of your skin without dehydration. It is so detoxifying and an powerful partner to the seaweed powder.

Rosehip Powder

An ingredient that hydrates dry skin and helps with decreasing wrinkles and increasing skin elasticity. It's a super hydrator, which pairs nicely with the powerful detoxifing clays in this mask.

Effective… but the smell
Effective… but the smell

I’m still giving this a 5 star review because it’s very clearing and leaves my skin feeling great. But be warned that the smell is awful. So bad. So if that’s important to you, you may want to try a different mask. Haha!

it's definitely a 'mud mask' thats for sure, we don't add any essential oils to this one so it's all clays and smells like mud!

Truly pulls all the lurking pimples out of my face. It smells kinda like the ocean but I love the natural earthy smells :) It has changed my life for dealing with mask acne this year.

This is the best clay mask I have used by far (even better than fresh!). First I noticed that soaked noticeably more oil (and impurities) out of my skin than other masks. My face was so soft and pores so refined afterwards, but it didn't feel tight, dry, or irritated. All the nutritive ingredients really fed my skin and it's been soft and glowing for days.
It also totally took care of some maskne that had been recurring in the same place for over a week--it felt like it leached all the bad stuff right out. It's totally healed. This does have a mild marine smell to me, but it smells like what's in it, which is good--probably the seaweed powder. I would put up with a lot more smell for these results. Just imagine you're walking on the beach.
I love the pink mask, and the vitamin c mask is lovely and good for brightening, but this is the one that really does it for me. This is my new go-to for deep clarifying, refining, and nourishing. Thanks, Pink House! You're wonderful!

thank you so much for your kind words Esther!! We've definitely contemplated removing the seaweed powder but it's benefits outweigh the smell ;)
